Abbreviation

Abbreviations are common in Toastmasters. Abbreviations include ACB, ACG, ACS, AL, ALB, ALS, ATM, CC, CL, CTM, DCP, DEC, DELP, DTM, HPL, ID, LACE, PID, PDG, PQD, TI, TT, VPE, VPM, VPPR and others.

Some abbreviations stand for current designations, while others are for designations which no longer are awarded, or for concepts which are not designations. The advent of the Pathways program has given rise to a variety of new abbreviations, which are primarily the initials of the paths.
