Coronavirus, known more formally as COVID-19, was a virus (of the coronavirus group of viruses) that became a worldwide pandemic in 2020, forcing major changes to the operations of Toastmasters International and Founders District. In our District, all physical meetings were cancelled and many clubs went completely online. Contests at the Area, Division and District level were postponed and held online only, unless they had already been held beforehand. Toastmasters International notified members that extra time would be allowed for payment of dues.
