A Distinguished Toastmaster is a person who has completed the Toastmasters communications and leadership tracks, or two paths in the Pathways program, along with other requirements. The person receives the DTM designation.

Individuals may complete their DTM designation multiple times.

It is traditional for new DTM's to be welcomed at the District Conference by a hug line of District DTM's.
