A division is part of the District Structure. Founders District in 2016-17 had ten divisions, and each division had roughly five areas. In 2017-18, there were seven divisions.

A division has a Division Director as well as other staff. A division has Division Contests and Division Council meetings.

Divisions have been voluntary, but in 2019 TI stated that no district had for many years chosen to do without divisions.
