The Division Director leads a division, supervising and supporting the Area Directors, according to the District Leadership Handbook. The handbook lists experience requirements to become a Division Director. A Division Director may be re-elected to one succeeding term.
Since there are typically 30 or more Area Directors each year, Division Directors are needed to give support to them. Senior District Officers would be spread too thin if they had to do supervision of Area Directors along with all of their other duties.
Division Directors are responsible for Division Contests.
A Division Director may have advisors and chairs.
