LACE is a massive district training and seminar event held twice each year. The centerpiece is club officer training, which is required by the DCP, but many other seminars and a keynote address occur. Prior to the District Split, events in northern and southern locations have taken place.

LACE currently means Leadership and Communication Experience, although most people use the abbreviation.

For people unable to attend LACE, a makeup training session is usually scheduled. If an officer is even unable to attend the makeup training, they should check with their Area Director for any remaining options.

District Officers get training at other events.
