Foreign Languages are used to some extent in Toastmasters International. Some clubs conduct their meetings entirely or partially in a language different than English. This is primarily true in countries other than the United States, although Founders District has had a few clubs which conduct their meetings in Spanish or bilingually. Speech contests in Founders District are conducted in English, other than contests which may be held at the club level in clubs which conduct meetings in Spanish.

Toastmasters International offers materials in a variety of languages for clubs that conduct meetings in languages other than English.

See also Toastmasters Demographics.

As of August 2016, a club in Newport Beach, in process of formation, was planned to conduct its meetings in French. In 2021 a club in Irvine, in process of formation, conducted its meetings in English/Spanish.

Some clubs have been formed as "English as a Second Language" clubs.
