Meeting Roles at club meetings can be divided into two groups: 1) Typical meeting roles, and 2) Non-standard meeting roles. Typical meeting roles are listed here [1] and include such things as Timer, General Evaluator, Grammarian and Toastmaster of the Day. Non-standard roles may include Humormaster, leader of the Pledge of Allegiance, Inspiration moment speaker, presenters of awards, etc.

Members typically fulfill a different role each meeting, so that every member over the course of time fulfills every role multiple times.

Fulfillment of meeting roles can help an individual complete his or her CL manual. In the Pathways program, fulfillment of certain meeting roles can satisfy project requirements.
