Meetup is a type of social media that is intended to facilitate group meetings offline. See [1] .
Some clubs report great success using Meetup, while others report less success.
In 2016-17, the District put together a program to provide free Meetup accounts to all clubs within the District. While some clubs took advantage of the opportunity, enough clubs did not that the District cancelled the program in 2017-18.
