A Mentor may serve a Club or a Member. Mentoring is part of both the legacy educational program and also Pathways.

A Mentor for a Member assists a new Member with his or her first three speeches and with other information as needed. This type of Mentor may get credit toward more than one designation. A mentor may also help an existing member for credit in the CL manual.

A Club Mentor assists a newly chartered Club for six months or more. This type of Mentor may get credit toward a designation.

The Successful Club Series has a presentation called Mentoring.
