As of March 22, 2016, it is possible to charter an online club. An online club will be "undistricted", members will meet online, and the club will choose what platform is used. Toastmasters had to modify the Policy and Protocol document for this.

An Online Clubs FAQ can be found here [1]. As one might imagine, a great many details need to be considered for such a club, and thus this document was created: Things to Consider Before Starting an Online Club.

In 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all clubs in our District were forced to temporarily become online clubs. See also Zoom and online meeting.
