Path
A Path is a term in Pathways for a group of projects directed to a particular educational goal chosen by a member. There were originally ten paths, with another two scheduled to be introduced in 2019 by TI. Each path has five levels, and in total each path requires around 14 speeches.
The names of the paths, in alphabetical order, are: Dynamic Leadership, Effective Coaching, Engaging Humor, Innovative Planning, Leadership Development, Motivational Strategies, Persuasive Influence, Presentation Mastery, Strategic Relationships, Team Collaboration and Visionary Communication.
In 2018-19, District F gave out a prize (a small flashlight with lanyard) to the first 150 finishers of a path.
Within our district, the most utilized paths in the 2018-19 year were Presentation Mastery and Innovative Planning, both with over 130 designations earned. The least utilized path was Persuasive Influence (as of 06-25-19).
