The Club Meeting is the main organizational concept in Toastmasters. Members belong to Clubs, and Clubs have Club Meetings to accomplish the purposes of the Clubs. A club may have two reasons to meet: 1) it may have an educational meeting where members give speeches, evaluations, and other typical Toastmaster activities such as fulfilling Club Meeting roles as a leadership development activity; 2) it may have a Club Business Meeting where formal business of the club occurs, including election of Club Officers, Club Votes and other formal discussion.

Some meetings are held in other Languages.

Some clubs give each meeting a theme. The theme may then be used by speakers in their speeches, Table Topics respondents in their answers, grammarians in choosing a Word of the Day, etc.
