Prospect Research

Prospect Research is research done by the Vice President Membership of a Club with a view to finding out where and whether Prospects exist in the Club's general area. For example, the VPM of a Corporate Club might ask within the company whether any department heads have encouraged their staffs to develop skills such as public speaking. Alternatively, the VPM might ask the Club's Members and Guests whether any of them use Instagram or have friends who use Instagram, with a view toward deciding whether Prospects can feasibly be reached by use of Instagram.

Every VPM needs to do Prospect Research because Prospects need to be contacted. Prospects need to be contacted because every Club will have some Turnover.
